We staff the two emergency departments of Sutter Health's Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. Each campus in Berkeley and Oakland sees about 40,000 patients annually. We have excellent specialist coverage. Our emergency department leadership is deeply involved in hospital leadership and operations which makes our contract very stable.
